PRESIDENT

Kerrie Anne Thomsen

Bike: 2018 Harley Davidson Sportster Joining year: 2014 Highways or Twisties: Highways
My dream was always to ride a bike and be in the Mardi Gras Parade along side DOB. I've always wanted to be a voice for those who can't or just don't know how to. Riding a bike , it's a freedom, a free spirit & soul and an imagination of adventures. I love the sisterhood between the Dykes On Bikes chapters from all over the world. I absolutely love my rainbow family. LGBTIQA+ will always be safe with me.

I have been on 2 wheels for 15 years and have ridden roads and highways all over Australia, the sights and smells you experience on a bike is unreal and cannot be put into words sometimes but there is never a better feeling than the friendship and support you get from riding with a group of like minded Women.

MEMBERSHIP OFFICER

Karen Sheppard

Bike: Retyred Rider but used to be a Harley DavidsonJoining year: 2011Highways or Twisties: ???????
UPDATE COMING have ridden motorcycles since I was a teenager. But lived in a country town and never bothered getting my licence. Fast forward to 2019, turning 50, and had made friends with the president of DOB QLD. Thought it was about time to get my licence and be a real rider. I had seen DOB many times leading Mardi Gras and always thought it would be a privilege and a hoot to roar down Oxford St. Now, I wouldn’t be without my DOB family. It’s never too late ladies!!!!!
